WHAT HAVE THEY IN COMMON? HOPE YOU GOT IT RIGHT
The first is a picture of a woman, Elfriede Rinkel 84, a US citizen who has been stripped of that facility because she failed to reveal to the authorities a key part of her life. That she was a guard at a Nazi concentration camp during the Second World War. And as historians and journalists have recorded, those camps - labour camps and death camps they were called were the sites of murder, extreme form of torture and deprivation and were a part of Hitler's plans to get rid of - now wait for it - not only Jews, but all human beings that were thought to be " of an inferior race" by the Nazis!!! This woman, in order to throw the Nazi scent off her even went to the extent of marrying a Jew, attended a synagogue and never told the man she married, her husband who was a Jew about her past. The man, now dead, went to his Maker without knowing that the woman she had for a companion and partner was one of those who were carrying out the most despicable acts of savagery to be recorded in modern history. This is what has been written about Elfriede Rinkel when the story broke. The man in the centre is none other than world-famous German writer and Nobel Prize winner Guenter Grass who even went to the extent of writing a book on the evils of the Nazi regime under Hitler and condemning them outright for what they did to Germans and people in occupied territories. After years of apparently unable to live with his terrible past, the man came out and confessed that he had indeed served with one of the notorious arms of Hitler's war machine, the Waffen SS. Literature abound on the Waffen SS and their various Deaths Head brigades and so when he came out clean, there was quite a stir. Some called for him to be stripped of his Nobel Prize, but the Committee would have none of it. Kindly read a couple of press reports on the matter. At least, the man had the moral courage to admit what he did, unlike the supporters of the beasts in Sierra Leone who continue to pretend that they were not a part of the AFRC/RUF coalition of evil advice brigade on what is to be published on the internet and national newspapers, who gets invited to their press conferences and who should be considered an enemy of the junta. Seaga Shaw and his type, Gibril Gbanabome Koroma as well as their AFRC/RUF internet "queen" Sylvia Blyden of the "Rebel Awareness Times" must come out clean before they can get any respite from us. They have to tell all and sundry about their part in the rule of that obnoxious and evil regime. The man on the left is journalist and war crimes convict, Hassan Ngeze who as you can see from the picture wanted to portray himself as a prosecuted member of the Muslim world. He was not tried by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, ICTR, for that. He was tried because as a journalist, he used his newspaper, Kangura to incite hatred against the Tutsi population of Rwanda and was reported to have been seen directing operations as to who were Tutsis to be eliminated. These other links say some more about Hassan Ngeze, the journalist and convicted war criminal. BBC REPORT ON
THE MEDIA'S ROLE IN WAR CRIMES And this leads us again to the Seaga Shaw, Gibril Gbanabome Koroma, Sylvia Blyden and a now apparently repentant (we hope) Kabs Kanu axis of evil. Having warmed their way into some media houses and other organisations,
portraying themselves as "persecuted and hunted journalists because of their
passion for the truth", these supporters of the AFRC/RUF coalition of evil
otherwise known as the beasts never told their new-found benefactors of what
they did during junta rule. They never told them the truth about their role in
keeping the junta in power, about their role in giving the junta a clean press
image while fingering journalists who were thought to be against the atrocities
and gross human rights abuses being unleashed on a hostage civilian population.
